My name is Mayya.
If you’re on this page, it means you are learning French or would like to learn it. Well, I have some good news for you - you’ve come to the right place! 😊
I have been living in France for over 15 years, and I have been teaching French since 2012.
As for my studies, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Language Sciences in 2011 (specializing in French as a Foreign Language – FLE), followed by a Master’s degree in French Language Teaching and Didactics (FLS track) from the Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
I then worked for 8 years as a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher in a language school in Paris.
In 2015, I obtained certification as a DCL examiner* (Diplôme de Compétence en Langue).
In 2021, I created Oh mon French Académie, a community that now brings together more than 800,000 French language enthusiasts across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

*The DCL (Diplôme de Compétence en Langue) is a national professional diploma designed specifically for adults. It meets the needs of the professional world. Its unique feature is that it assesses language skills in real-life work situations. Depending on their performance, candidates are awarded the diploma with a level corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
